White House Wednesdays

Happy Wednesday, friends! Today's post begins a little series called "White House Wednesdays." I'll show you a product (or two!) we've made, how it is styled, and show some of my favorite trends/inspirations from the web. Ready? Go.

The obvious piece to start with is of course, the farmhouse table. You can find tables in this style at so many price points, with the feel of each table easily changed by the seating chosen.

In our dining room, we chose a mix of upholstered and wooden chairs. I love the trend of mixing and matching chairs these days!

Of course, the traditional but timeless collection of all matching chairs creates a cohesive and clean look. I love the "schoolhouse" feel of the turquoise chairs in the top picture.

The stark white linen of these upholstered parsons chairs beautifully contrasts with a dark wood table. With two little munchkins, white always makes me nervous, but I love the idea of being able to wash and bleach them when the spills inevitably happen.

Last, but not least, perhaps the most popular pairing with the farmhouse style table are benches. Whether upholstered or raw and natural, this seating option allows for variable numbers of seats on either side, depending on how packed the diners are! The wooden benches allow for quick clean up with the swipe of a cloth, but the upholstered options are OH so pretty :).

Which options are your favorite? An eclectic mix of chairs, the classic look of matching, benches? The options are endless! I'll be back on Friday with my "Friday Favs." Happy mid-week!

be blessed,
leslie
